Dark Mode Off / On

Have you bought a planner lately but felt it wasn’t working for you? Sometimes it takes finding the right one that will help you succeed. This year is my year to make a change in my life and embark on my growth journey.

So, I decided that I wanted to do this right and benefit from doing all of this. When it comes to doing things for ourselves, we tend not to do things for ourselves. And when you’re dealing with years of depression, wanting the life that you’ve dreamt of seems like an impossible task.

While it’s great to make goals and want life changes, sometimes it takes more than just saying the words to get the result you want. Sometimes it takes joining support groups, performing daily tasks for yourself, researching, reading, and books.

Before deciding on doing this journey, I did a lot of research, and I wanted to understand what I really wanted and what I was willing to do to make the life that I wanted for myself. And I’m thankful that therapy has helped me get to this point where I can take steps to advance further.

So, I wanted to see what it would be like if I didn’t rely only on my mind but also visuals. I received a suggestion on planners. Over the past two months, I made some purchases and did a big haul of books from Lovet Planners website.

Lovet Planners’ mission is to help make dreams come true for others in a structured way. Their planners, journals, and trackers are centered around self-love and manifesting. And I was all in. So, here’s what I bought from them to help me on my journey.

Self-care Planner

The Self-care Planner was in my first set of purchases, and it’s my favorite to use. It is straightforward to use, which is perfect for me. It’s a twelve-month planner that allows you to focus on yourself for the long term, and what makes it stand out for me is that it doesn’t focus on one specific thing.

We may think that self-care is about skincare routines, but it’s a lot more than that, and this planner shows that. At the beginning of the book, a good point is that they have suggestions of self-care practices you can try for the body, mind, and others if you get stuck.

The planner starts with a love letter to yourself. And that’s followed by mapping out your self-care goals for the year. There’s also a “what you love about yourself” section. You’re met with a calendar to plan out some self-care activities each week. And by the end of the week, you’re asked a series of questions to reflect on your feelings.

I started this book at the start of February and completed my first month. I haven’t written my love letter to myself, but it hasn’t stopped me from moving to the next step.

Vision Board

I was never a big fan of these because I always felt it wouldn’t work for me. And I’m sure others probably feel the same way. However, having a vision board to see what your world would look like gives you something to aim for.

Lovet’s Vision Board is equipped with many different positive and encouraging prompts to put along with your photos of manifesting the life you want. And because it’s a spiral book, once you’re done with your board, you can rip it out and tape it to your wall so you can see it daily.

This book was a part of my first bundle of purchases, and I’ve already set up the beginning pieces of my four vision boards. Now, you can create a year goal vision board and individual ones, and it’s so simple to use and a big plus for my collection.

Habit Tracker

Before purchasing one of these, I had no idea about a habit tracker. It may seem unnecessary to have, but it’s an excellent little addition to my daily routine. This little book helps you track habits you want to develop, such as exercising for ten minutes or going to bed at a specific time.

Granted, we all have habits, but how many of us understand and reward ourselves for them? The book starts with a few pages where you can make a list and start dates. And what’s great about this tracker is that it gives you thirty days of tracking per habit. And I love that you can take it with you anywhere.

I added the Habit Tracker to my collection because I wanted to pick up new habits that are beneficial towards my self-care, which would hold me accountable for doing so. I’ve only been using it for about a week, but so far, I’ve been trying my best to keep up with my new habits so that I can receive my reward at the end of the thirty days.

The 100-day Positive Thinking Journal

If you’re looking for a journal that’s made to teach you how to think positively, then this is the journal for you. Now it’s not what you think because it’s filled with daily prompts. So instead of it being a regular journal, every day is met with a different prompt to work on.

It’s one hundred days of challenging your thoughts and building growth. And with each milestone within the book, there is a “time to reflect” section on your progress. And the start of your next milestone is met with a positive affirmation.

The 100-day Positive Thinking Journal was a part of my second purchase, so I have only started to use it. But it has already prompted me to write down what I can and can’t control and create a gratitude pyramid to reflect on when it comes to my low days.

Manifesting Journal

The manifesting journal is a big plus for me. Part of living the life you dream of is finding a way to manifest it. We’ve heard it with those living the life they desired that if you manifest it, it will come to light. This book teaches you to focus on something you want in life and make that vision a reality.

For those who struggle with seeing themselves in a different, happier life, manifesting could be more like a dream. However, this journal gives you a few exercises and a warm-up week to get started, and it lets you test drive the power of manifesting before the real deal.

It’s a twelve-week guided journal geared towards helping you manifest your goals. And while I’ve only started with this one, I can already see the upside of having this book in my collection.

Project Planner

I feel like the start of my journey wouldn’t be complete without having at least one planner dedicated to my creative thoughts. When you’re creative, ideas can be endless but also overwhelming. And with the many projects I have, I needed something to help me organize them all.

The project planner from Lovet gives me a space to write down all the ideas I have in my head and has a simple template to follow. I think what is good about this planner is the question prompts, and it asks you to write down “the why” before you get started working on any task or budget.

This is an excellent layout for those who struggle with being overwhelmed by things to help them grasp those ideas. There’s a section for brainstorming notes as well. I bought this planner to help build my brand and hold myself accountable for seeing my projects through.

This was a part of my second purchase bundle, so I’ve started with putting all the ideas I have floating around in my head into the ideas bank they have at the beginning of the book.

Conclusion

As a new customer to this site, I can honestly say Lovet Planners really planned these planners and journals out to help you achieve your goals towards the life you envisioned.

While there are numerous tools out there, all giving great steps on how to start, there is no one formula. If you’ve hit your breaking point and now looking to embark on your journey, the best advice I can give you is to find what works for you.

And when you do, just know that you’re not on this path alone.
